Welcome to Best AI Tools (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.

Information you send us

We only receive personal information when you fill in one of our forms. There are no user accounts on this site.

• —Newsletter: your email address.
• —Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
• —Submit a tool: the tool’s name, website, tagline, description, category and pricing, plus your email address. If you pick a logo file, it is only previewed in your browser; it is not uploaded.

These submissions are stored in our database, which is hosted by Neon (a managed Postgres service).

Analytics, only if you allow it

If you choose “Allow analytics”, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics then collects the pages you view, the page that referred you, your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), your device, browser, operating system, screen size and language, and basic interactions such as scrolling and clicks on outbound links. We use this only in aggregate, to see what is useful and improve the site.

If you decline, or haven’t chosen yet, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, so nothing is sent to Google.

Hosting and images

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages. Tool logos are loaded from third-party image hosts (mainly Google’s favicon service, plus Wikimedia Commons and GitHub), which receive the same standard request data from your browser when they send the image.

We use the information we collect to:

• —Send you our newsletter, if you subscribed
• —Reply to your messages
• —Review tools you submit and email you about them
• —Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (only with your consent)

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.

We don’t set advertising or affiliate cookies; the site runs no ads and has no affiliate links. What we store on your device:

• —consent-v1 (local storage): your analytics choice and when you made it, so we don’t ask again on every page.
• —ink-theme-v3 (local storage): your light or dark theme preference.
• —_ga and _ga_<ID> (cookies, set by Google Analytics): only after you allow analytics. They distinguish visits from returning visitors and expire after up to 2 years.

Google Consent Mode is set to deny all storage by default. Advertising signals (ad storage, ad user data, ad personalization) are always denied.

Changing your choice

Use the “Cookie settings” button on this page to allow or decline analytics at any time. If you decline after allowing, we stop analytics and delete the Google Analytics cookies. You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings, and we will ask again.
